Rules summary
Free head-to-head futures trading competition run by Tradeify on simulated accounts: Open 2 is the second of two online leagues in the 2026 Premier Trading League. Tradeify's competition guide says Open 2 registration closes on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11:59 PM ET and that no one can register once the league has started; trading opens on Monday 26 October at 6:00 PM ET, and the last match day is Thursday 19 November, when sessions close at 4:45 PM ET. US daylight saving time ends on 1 November, during Open 2. Tradeify's official rules give the same contest period, 26 October to 19 November, while its main league pages say Open 2 runs to 23 November. Matches are 1v1 and are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays; each session runs from 6:00 PM ET the evening before to 4:45 PM ET on match day, on a fresh simulated $50,000 Tradovate account with no drawdown limit, trading ES, NQ, GC or CL or their micro contracts, with at most one mini or ten micros across the account. Every entrant plays the first four matches; after Match 4 on 5 November the bottom half of the field is cut, and only the remaining traders play Matches 5 to 8. A win scores 3 points and a draw (within $50) 1 point; traders also gain a point per $500 of profit (capped at 20 per match) and lose a point per $500 of loss, with no cap. Optional paid resets are offered: $25 removes one match (Matches 1-3 or 5-7), and a full reset of the score to zero, in Matches 1-3 only, costs $50 according to the guide and $49 according to Tradeify's league pages. The guide allows one reset of either type per league and says a trader who uses one must score points in Match 4 to survive the cut, while the official rules describe the full reset as an additional option; reset fees are non-refundable. Tradeify's guide and league pages list these Open 2 cash awards: $10,000 for 5th place, $8,000 each for 6th-10th, $4,000 for 11th-25th, $2,000 for 26th-50th, $525 for 51st-150th and $250 for 151st-500th, with separate sign-ups, standings and a $300,000 prize allocation for each Open. Tradeify's official rules list the same awards but rank traders on one leaderboard combining Open 1 and Open 2 by each trader's best result, so neither the attribution of these awards to Open 2 alone nor an Open 2 total is treated as verified here. Places 1 to 4 receive no cash from this ladder; they qualify instead for a separate in-person Grand Final on 11 December 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, whose prizes ($180,000 down to $13,000 for eight trader finalists) are not part of Open 2. According to the guide, a top-4 trader without valid US travel authorization is placed 5th and paid the 5th-place prize instead, and their seat passes to the next eligible trader; it does not say how the places below are adjusted. Each trader also joins one of 16 creator-led Companies, which can earn unspecified team reward packs; these are separate from the cash awards and are not included here. Cash prizes are paid through Rise once final placements are confirmed; winners need a Rise account with completed identity verification and may be asked for tax forms. Tradeify may change the dates and posts schedule changes first on its Discord.
Eligibility
Free to enter, with no purchase or deposit; one entry per person and per household, and every participant must pass Tradeify's identity (KYC) check. Entrants must be 18 or older and live in a jurisdiction where Tradeify offers its services and participation is legal. Tradeify's standard restricted-country list applies, with no extra list for the league; we could not consult that list, so check your country's eligibility before entering. Open 2 is a separate sign-up from Open 1, and traders cut from Open 1 may enter. Tradeify's sources differ on Open 1 finalists: the official rules limit Open 2 to entrants who did not advance from Open 1, while its league site says they can play for Open 2 cash but not a second Grand Final seat. The official rules also require entrants to subscribe to the Tradeify TV YouTube channel for the whole contest and to accept Tradeify's Funded Trader Agreement, while the guide says no subscription is needed. Tradeify's employees, contractors and their immediate families are excluded. Finalists travelling to the United States need a valid passport and any required travel authorization, and Tradeify does not sponsor visas. The guide describes finalists' travel and accommodation as all-expenses-paid, while the official rules cover coach-class airfare and hotel and leave incidental expenses to the finalist.
Platform
Tradovate: a dedicated simulated account (number starting PTLOP) under the trader's existing Tradeify login, starting at $50,000 for each match.
